Hey, cosmico, sorry it took so long for me to respond. As aword of encouragement, diabetes ain't the end of the world, though it might look that way when you first discover you have it. You might be on some pills now and that will help but diet and exercise are important too. Take it from a guy that's had it for 14 years now. You can still enjoy some of the things you love, but only once in a while. I've gotten so used to diet sodas that the regular stuff is unpalateable to me now. There's always diet root beer. Hang in there.

Thanks. Yeah, I've recently met a lot of people who have it too and am slowly growing to understand and cope with this latest challenge. Lots of lifestyle changes to be sure. I do have some complications - other health issues that make it a bit tougher than if I had diabetes alone - but I'll survive. Hell, I have a sci-fi b-movie to make! :)
